Quran Translations Presented at Iraq’s Int’l Book Fair

Copies of the Holy Quran and translations of the Quran in different languages are among the books presented at an international book fair underway in Iraq.

The Al-Javadayn (AS) Book Fair was inaugurated in the city of Kadhimain on May 23.

Mushtaq Taleb Inad, director of the book fair, told IQNA that it was mounted by the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Mousa Kazem’s (AS) holy shrine on the martyrdom anniversary of the 7th Imam (AS).

He said publishers from over 60 countries including Britain, Iran, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria have showcased books in various religious, cultural, literary and academic fields as well as Quran copies and translations.

Opened with the motto of ‘Imam Mousa Kazem (AS), Source of Everlasting Light for Humanity’, the book fair will run until Friday, June 1.
