Shahnameh rendered to Arabic language in Kuwait

Iranian cultural office is announced that Persian language masterpiece the Shahnameh of Ferdowsi is translated and released in Arabic language in Kuwait.

According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Iranian cultural office in Kuwait has said that a Kuwaiti Publication Institute has translated and published the Arabic edition of "The Shahnameh (The Book of Kings)" and released the book in Arabic countries.   

The Shahnameh (The Book of Kings) is translated into Arabic language in 7th century by Abolfath-Ibn-Ali-Albandari and Dr Abdolvahab Ezam the professor and Iranologist of Egyptian University has corrected this Arabic version.

Miss Dr Sead Al-Sabah an Arabian famous poet has penned the books Introduction.

It is worth mentioning that The Shahnameh (The Book of Kings) is translated into more than 30 languages and has inspired so many poets and literature lovers around the world so far.  

The Shahnameh (The Book of Kings) is a long epic poem written by the Persian poet Ferdowsi between c. 977 and 1010 CE and is the national epic of Iran (Persia. Consisting of some 50,000 verses, the Shahnameh tells mainly the mythical and to some extent the historical past of the Persian Empire.
